Article 1 - Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Cooling-off period: the period during which the consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal.
- Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the course of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
- Day: calendar day.
- Durable data carrier: any means that enables the consumer or entrepreneur to store information addressed personally to them in a way that allows future consultation and unchanged reproduction of the stored information.
- Right of withdrawal: the option for the consumer to withdraw from the distance contract within the cooling-off period.
- Entrepreneur: the natural or legal person who offers products and/or services to consumers at a distance.
- Distance contract: a contract concluded within a system organized by the entrepreneur for distance selling of products and/or services.
- General Terms and Conditions: the present general terms and conditions of the entrepreneur.

Article 3 - Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance contract and order between the entrepreneur and the consumer.
Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions is made available to the consumer. If the contract is concluded electronically, the text may be made available electronically in such a way that the consumer can easily store it on a durable data carrier.
If one or more provisions of these terms are wholly or partially invalid at any time, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
Article 4 - The Offer
If an offer has a limited validity period or is subject to conditions, this shall be explicitly stated.
The offer includes a complete and accurate description of the products offered. Images are a true representation of the products, but exact color matching cannot be guaranteed. Obvious errors or mistakes do not bind the entrepreneur.
Each offer includes sufficient information so that the consumer understands the rights and obligations associated with acceptance, including the price, any shipping costs, the method of payment and delivery, and whether the right of withdrawal applies.
Article 5 - The Agreement
The agreement is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and complies with the conditions. If accepted electronically, the entrepreneur will confirm receipt without delay.
The entrepreneur may, within legal limits, assess the consumer's ability to meet payment obligations and may refuse an order with justification. Each agreement is subject to product availability.
Article 6 - Right of Withdrawal
The consumer may request a return within 7 days of receiving the product, subject to the Return and Refund Policy. Beauty and personal-care items are generally non-returnable except where defective, damaged in transit, or the wrong item was sent.
The consumer must handle the product carefully. When a return is approved, the product must be returned unused, with seals intact where applicable, and in its original packaging.
The consumer must email hello@thelittlecornershop.online within 7 days of delivery and follow the return instructions we send.
Article 7 - Costs of Withdrawal
If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping is deducted from the refund. Original outbound shipping is non-refundable. Refunds are issued after we confirm the item has been received and inspected.
Article 8 - Exclusion of Withdrawal
For hygiene and safety reasons, returns are excluded for perishable goods and personal care / beauty products (cosmetics, makeup, and skincare), except where the item is defective, damaged in transit, or the wrong item was sent. Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned.
Article 9 - Pricing
Prices shown at the time of order remain unchanged during the offer period, except for changes resulting from taxes. All prices are subject to obvious errors, and the entrepreneur is not bound by such errors.
Article 10 - Conformity and Warranty
Products must comply with the agreement, the specifications stated in the offer, and applicable legal requirements. Defects or incorrectly delivered products should be reported within a reasonable time after discovery. Warranty does not apply in cases of misuse, unauthorized modification, or damage caused by external factors.
Article 11 - Delivery and Execution
The entrepreneur will take the greatest possible care when receiving and executing orders. Orders are processed within 3-5 business days and delivered within the timeframes stated in the Shipping Policy (standard shipping: 7-14 business days after dispatch). Risk of damage or loss transfers to the consumer upon delivery.
If delivery is significantly delayed, the consumer may cancel the order without cost.
Article 12 - Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, amounts owed by the consumer must be paid at the time the order is placed. The consumer must report any inaccuracies in payment details to the entrepreneur without delay.
Article 13 - Complaints
Complaints about the performance of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur within a reasonable time after the consumer discovers the defect. Submitted complaints are answered within a reasonable period, typically 14 days.
Article 14 - Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, and you may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.
Article 15 - Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and except to the extent that mandatory consumer-protection laws of the customer's place of residence apply.
